But if your model allows you to reduce charging speed, slower charging is often gentler on the battery. It depends on your rhythm. If you need rapid recovery, use it. If the station is just sitting at home, there is no real prize for charging it flat-out every time.
5. Give it a proper storage routine
If your unit is going away for a month or more, do not just chuck it on a shelf and forget it. Clean it, switch it off fully if the model requires that, and store it partly charged in a dry spot away from big temperature swings.
